Tri-State's OSHA 30-hour general industry training in New York City is a four-day, seven-and-a-half-hour comprehensive safety training course designed for anyone in the general industry. The fee is $270. To maintain workplace safety and hazard recognition standards, OSHA recommends regular workplace safety training. This OSHA-authorized course can benefit workers in the following fields: factory operations, manufacturing, storage, warehousing, healthcare, and more.
OSHA highly recommends that workers covered by OSHA 29 CFR 1910 should complete outreach training programs to become oriented with occupational safety and health. Additionally, general workers are required to undergo specific job hazard training as mandated by OSHA standards. Upon successfully completing the course, participants will receive a 30-hour OSHA course completion card. NYC Local Law 196 of 2017 has changed the general industry by requiring workers to earn an SST card.
